Your campaigns can comprise different products types, as follows.

Product Types

Simple

Covers the vast majority of any products you may sell. As the name implies, simple products are straightforward items that have a fixed price and no variations.
Examples: a magazine, merchandise, or a meet-up.

Grouped

A collection of related products that can be purchased individually and only consist of simple products.
Examples: a book list or a series of sessions or classes.

Variable

A product with variations, each of which may have a different SKU, price, stock levels, etc.
Examples: a uniform shirt available in different sizes, a membership with different categories.

Bookable*

Premium Feature
Allows booking of a resource such as a sports facility or for setting an appointment with a person.
Examples: Tennis court hire or a private coaching session.

Simple Product

To add a Simple Product, go to Campaigns Add new product

Simple product
  1. Enter a product Title and Description
  2. Set a Price
    • Regular Price – Item’s normal/regular price.
    • Sale Price – Item’s discounted price that can then be scheduled for certain date ranges.
  3. Choose a Category – this will help search and cataloguing.
  4. Add at least one product image (required) or multiple images (optional).
  5. Set Catalogue Visibility.
  6.  

Go through each of the below tabs to set up your product:

Click the Draft button to save without publishing and the Submit button to save and make the product visible to your followers. 

Grouped Product

Grouped Products allow you to group a collection of related Simple Products (which need to be created beforehand).

To add a Grouped Product, go to Campaigns Add new product

  1. Select Grouped Product from the drop down menu.
  2. Enter a product Title and Description.
  3. Choose a Category – this will help search and cataloguing.
  4. Add at least one product image (required) or multiple images (optional).
  5. Set Catalogue Visibility.

Then, go through each of the below tabs to finish setting up your product:

Click the Draft button to save without publishing and the Submit button to save and make the product visible to your followers. 

Variable Product

Variable products allow you to offer a set of variations on a product, with control over prices, stock, images and more for each variation. They can be used for many products, for instance clothing and other apparel, where product attributes such as size or colour will vary.

To add a Variable Product, go to Campaigns Add new product

  1. Select Variable Product from the drop-down menu.
  2. Enter a product Title and Description.
  3. Choose a Category – this will help search and cataloguing.
  4. Add at least one product image (required) or multiple images (optional).
  5. Set Catalogue Visibility.

Next, you need to define product Attributes and Variations. These tabs are crucial for Variable products. You can find more information in the respective help page.

    • In the  Attributes tab, you can add one or more Attribute sets (example, range of sizes or colours available).
    • In the Variations tab, you can assign parameters such as price, stock levels and much more to each enabled Attribute or combination thereof.

Then, go through each of the below tabs to finish setting up your product:

Bookable Product

Bookable Products allow you to set up reservations, services, and rentals/hires. Bookings can be given customisable dates, costs and duration. Some Bookable Products require confirmation of availability before any payment commitments can be made by the follower.

  1. For Bookable Products that do not require confirmation, followers can add the booking to their cart and pay (online or offline) right away.
  2. On the other hand, for bookings that require a confirmation of availability, the follower’s order will generate a confirmation request upon checking out, without committing any payment. Once availability is confirmed by the Community, the follower can then commit the pending payment by completing the Checkout process.

To add a Bookable Product, go to Campaigns Add new product

  1. Select Bookable Product from the drop-down menu.
  2. Enter a product Title and Description.
  3. Choose a Category – this will help search and cataloguing.
  4. Add at least one product image (required) or multiple images (optional).
  5. Set Catalogue Visibility.
  6. If the booking is tied to a resource, such as a room, equipment or sports facility, tick the Has Resource checkbox.
  7. If the booking can be made for multiple persons at once, tick the Has Persons checkbox. 

The Resources and Persons tabs are specific to Bookable Products. You can find more information in the respective help page.

    • In the Resources tab, you can add one or more Resources (example, room, equipment or sports facility).
    • In the Persons tab, you can create bookable Persons (example, private tutor or a sports coach).

Then, go through each of the below tabs to finish setting up your product:
